Finding Sources: E-books

Ebooks from EBL for Connect NY

The Library now has access to a new package of electronic books. The ConnectNY consortium has contracted with EBL to provide access to current and recent titles from the publishers listed below. Access to the titles is possible through links in the USMA Library or ConnectNY catalogs, or through the hosting site These ebooks can be read online or downloaded for seven days.

This project differs from our Ebrary subscription package in that as books are read, they are purchased for permanent access. We expect this will result in a more relevant and cost-effective collection of ebooks.

In our catalog these titles can be recognized by the link "Access via EBL for ConnectNY". At the EBL website, select U.S. Military Academy from the pull-down list and login with your library ID.

Faculty desiring to assign readings from this collection may do so by inserting the book’s link from within the Library catalog into the relevant Blackboard course page or other document. Please let your department's liaison librarian know the titles you use this way - we get a discounted price if we notify the distributor in advance.
