Behavioral Science and Leadership: PL 300

Overview

PL300 (Military Leadership) is a multidisciplinary study of leadership in organizations. Cadets pragmatically apply knowledge from the behavioral, organizational, and sociological sciences to become better leaders, develop better leaders, and make their organizations more effective. http://www.usma.edu/bsl/SitePages/PL300.aspx

As a Cadet enrolled in PL300 you are part of a larger conversation devoted to understanding and researching topics in leadership and management. This conversation is embodied in what are called Threshold Concepts for Information Literacy; where an information literate person is one whose:  "information literacy skills as defined by The American Library Association has a set of abilities requiring individuals to "recognize when information is needed and have the ability to locate, evaluate, and use effectively the needed information"  (Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education | Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL)

With this in mind your assignment is to DIG DEEPER into topics of interest to broaden your scholastic conversation abilities as you interact with the published literature on topics within the PL300 Course.
